Like yourself I have been doing short-term (almost day) trading of options and that too only going long with calls as I don't like doing puts or selling naked calls. Took a lot of risk and bought 8 Aug 95 CSCO calls around 11:30 @ 3 and sold before close @ 4 3/4. Similarly day traded CCI Aug 160 calls twice today scalping about 1 1/4 points on 14 contracts. In 3 trading days so far in august my day-trading profits run to around $6200 after commissions and this is the best run I've had so far in a long time. I missed out on both DELL and AOL today (got scared I guess).
