wpckr...one pretty PO'd analyst on the conference. He
pretty much raked SMU over the coals. Said it seemed as
though they always have an excuse from Q to Q and the
timing always seems to be off. Specifically he was
referring to the delay in the Blackhawk CABS contract. I
thought SMU did a pretty good job not only explaining the
delay but they also alluded to another CABS contract in
the making. The analyst was also really prying for info
as to projected ITS revenues and ramp. He really hammered
them about flat sequential growth in the ITS and wanted
some numbers for the foreseeable quarters. SMU would not
specify the numbers but did allude to recent events
concerning ITS and pretty much said the writing is on the
wall as to where they are headed. They also alluded to
another ITS customer but did not specifically name them.
Indications were we would have that info by Q4. Good
conference overall, just one perturbed analyst. Oh one last thing, they said the profits would be focused in the Airline division for next 6-12mos with focus then shifting to the ITS/Auto division long term.
