I am worried about Aquafuel. I am encouraged by the news from this company, but I am also worried. Aquafuel sounds so great, but I had never heard of it before. The Toups website has a very impressive-looking endorsement of it by Dr. Ruggero Maria Santilli who seems to be an outstanding person who has been at pre-eminent institutions. However, putting him through Yahoo search, I came up with only one mention of him: as a member of the Natural Philosophy Alliance. These guys question the very basics of Einsteinian physics and want to go back to Newtonian physics. They may be right (check out May 15 article at http://www.ebicom.net/~rsf1/npa/media.htm and see also other things in the natural philosophy alliance pages) but it makes Santilli's endorsement of aquafuel controversial as he seems to disagree with all of the main points of twentieth century physics. I was very impressed with the institute for basic research's great report on aquafuel, but why should we trust it? I am not convinced it is impartial. In fact, I worry Toups chose it because they knew Santilli was over-sympathetic to it because of Santilli's basic committment to over-throwing Einsteinian science.
