ok...... here's my take..... the good and the bad..

Very speculative ..... (is that less than 200?)

Here's the long version

I think their technology has some very interesting potential... but that it will not be any sort of panacea for piracy or network security.... I like the trial and limited play versions the best as they appear to me to have the most to offer over other competing solutions... Licensing out the darkening polymer tech is also an appealing and profitable option..... I don't think this solution will replace the dongle in the high end software market... though it could acheive some level of success... And their Internet development is still a wildcard...

The reverse merger thing still bugs me a bit... but depending on what happens (and we'll know in the near future) .... i could overlook it...

As far as the financials go... I would think that this company is going to need a serious inflow of capital to succeed in this market... and I wouldn't venture to guess what their margins are gonna look like on these products .... especially since they are gonna have to make their solution an attractive option to the software developers (which might be more difficult than some of you think)...

The story is good, and management seems to be "on the level" but it is also important to note that these guys are not from the software security field.... but from the disk end of the business.... (at least that is what i was led to believe)..

In conclusion, it's too risky for me... but i'm more of a "sure thing" type guy... and reverse merger startups don't exactly fall into that category .. The stock could definitely draw some investor interest because the tech story is appealing.. and it makes for a good "undiscovered" growth stock play, but there are too many uncertainties for me to want to put my money down... My guess is that if you guys are here, you're risk tolerance is greater than mine.... so take my opinions with a grain of salt...

BTW, I do like RNBO very much, the stock is very cheap and the public is largely unaware of the potential they have in the Internet security arena.... I spent some time looking into it... and expect some good things in the not-so distant future... (4-8 months)... There seems to be a lot of support for the stock around 14, and a long history of profitability (and strong balance sheet) to protect against the downside... I think that it could turn out to be a great long term play for those who have the patience to withstand some short term volatility and market nearsightedness... I just hope that investors are being as ignorant as i think they are.... and that it's not me who is missing something... But i definitely expect to see revenue growth accelerate, and operating margins improve in 1999, which sure as hell isn't reflecting in RNBO's stock at the moment.

That's the way I see it...
