The July 2, 1998 press release put out by Turbodyne should be great cause for alarm. It reports a sale valued at over $30 million to an outfit in Russia. That alone should have you asking serious questions.

By the way, I am neither long nor short this stock. My only interest is in investigating any company, particularly ones originating in Canada, te determine whether or not they are legit. There have been too many real bad scams come out of this country the last few years and vigilance is required. In fact most of these scams originate in Western Canada, more specifically British Columbia.

The reason I think the Russian sale bears paying close attention is because of a company called YBM Magnex out of Pennsylvania. Ever hear of it???

YBM was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange until being delisted recently when it was discovered that the company was nothing but a fraud and the Russian mob was involved in this outfit as well. The FBI is still investigating the company.

Check them out at their S.I. thread.
