Alomex, based on the figures you presented, Micron has the lowest Price/Sales and lowest PE. Thus we should all be running out to buy Micron instead of AAPL...right? WRONG! I have no idea how you came up with those numbers. Thank god most of us already know what your advice is worth.

Your number for GTW are off...I don't know why. Your numbers for Micron Electronics (MUEI) are totally off because you have included the one time gains MUEI made from selling MCM. If one were to calculate real earnings based on last two quarters and then annualized it, Micron Electronics would have negative earnings and thus no PE! Let me ask you this. How much is MUEI expected to make next quarter? Answer....1 cent. Don't tell me a stock like that is suppose to have a lower PE than AAPL.

Based on your proposed method of calculating PE Apple would have a PE of 20.45 which is much lower than DELL, CPQ, and MUEI. GTW comes close but at 30.81, it is still significantly higher than AAPL. Again this is based on your method of annualizing earnings for the last two quarters. Take a look at the calculation here.
