Frank, this is a crystal ball view of things, but I see T connecting their backbone infrastructure to MetroDWDM systems of TCOMA. TCOMA is building DWDM systems in Dallas,Washington State,Louisiana, and in 7 other large metro areas. T will expand their backbone DWDM after they shop around for a better system(they are going to dump CIEN),and go with either LUcy or NT long haul DWDM with 40-80 channels. They will connect that to MetroDWDM provided by TCOMA's cable infrastructure. I believe they will then run NT/BAY IP telephony over that system. This is total speculation, but I think a valid way to go,and by their purchases seems logical. BAY is going to build a state of the art IP telephony with their recent acquisitions, and NSPK technology, and their LANCity cable modems. This will occur much faster than anyone thinks it will. But then again I could be wrong.
