Sid,

I gave Mark (mq) the benefit of the doubt with his post. He came onto this thread as the definitive authority on the technical aspects until someone told him he was speaking to Dr. Ricker, PHd. Chemical Engineering. Since then, I've noted a marked humbleness in his posts.

I read your post to Mark, and agree wholeheartedly with what you said about Poor JR. Let's not forget, not only did he allow his shares to be sold (his story is lame) by his broker, but also that his actions of selling 3 million unregistered (read naked) shares of SOLV did more harm than any short seller on this thread could possibly have inflicted on the stock!!!! You know as I do that selling unregistered (unauthorized - read ILLEGAL!) shares in the open market is the same as an individual short seller selling naked. I believe that his actions might even be more harmful in that his creation of 3 million shares also dilute the float of the stock and do not disappear when the transaction is closed. The naked seller of a stock does not increase the float permanently.

The fact that Mark laments Poor JR is proof enough to me that he has not fully read any of the available literature associated with this fiasco.

Regards and Good Luck Sid,

Gary
