"Just speculating but based on Apple's past performance during this latest mess, today seems anomalous to me." Well, I feel the market makes its own course based on Apple's recent performance in the last three quarters as well as the coming ones. Majority of analysts blamed recent overall market retreat on second half '98's nets, for which Apple should be one of the safest bets in the high tech group. Something is brewing but probably not IBM/Sun merger. It could be something to do with iMac sales. Phil
