I presume you are trying to show potential work for a TAVA like company. THINK!! 543 escalators!!! sounds like lots of work. Please. Even if escalators cared what the year was, would I need to inspect all 543 of them? Even if escalators knew the date are they all different? There are so many articles, TV stories, Presidential speeches, etc... on Y2K these days. Is it a problem, yes. And the article you quoted shows that most of the problems in the Metro DC area are being worked on... systems with real problems... accounting, payroll, lottery!??! If TAVA has any chance it will be shown in their next earnings report. I believe last qtr they said their 'big "contracts"' were slow starting. A recent press release stated 25 of the 33mil came in the last qtr. Someone else said it already "show me the money"!!
