To ALL re: the LOR FAQ. This is kinda important for those that like it.

I am planning to change the format of the FAQ because I really don't have the time or resources to basically be an editor for the vast amount of content that I put on the earlier versions of the FAQ -- like the one still active at this time.

What I want to provide on the site is as follows:
1 - Link for quotes
2 - Link for news
3 - Link for charts
4 - Link for SEC filings
5 - Link to SI LOR thread
6 - Link to Yahoo! LOR message board
7 - Consensus earnings estimates and recommendations (like First Call)
8 - Links to research reports (if supplied to me via fax then I will post summaries or scanned versions)
9 - A company profile (compiled through a few posts and Marketguide)
10 - A satellite launch schedule (that I will do my best to keep up-to-date with a little help)
11 - A list of Web sites of Loral companies (like the Site currently has)
12 - Explanations of LOR's relationship to G*, C*, E*, CD radio, etc. (compiled through posts)
13 - Reference documents (like the "essays" Readware occasionally posts to the Fool)
14 - Earnings projections and price targets (compiled from posts -- but much more condensed than the Site currently has)
15 - Risks of investing in satellite firms (compiled from posts but much more condensed than the Site currently has)
16 - a set of posts every week that are chosen for quality of the content, regardless of whether the posts are bullish, bearish or neutral. Such posts will be featured.

-------

Unfortunately many sections are being scaled back due to length and time to edit. I think the best thing is to focus on what we all find the most valuable. The above, I believe are all manageable, but topics like China, price movement, etc is better served through that set of weekly posts.

Please let me know if you all agree or disagree with the 16 items that will be featured on the new FAQ. I think that trying to maintain the size of all the current sections is just too much. Some of them are over 20 pages long!

Well, let me know what you all think, and I will get to work. Please try to respond asap.

later,
geoff
