>>>JD/all, IOM seen as a member of the DD sector does not look unusual:<<<

Granted... but I don't think IOMEGA should get off that easy... I think the majority of IOMEGA's woe's of late are self inflicted... Blame it on K.E. if you want, Marketing plan, Stock split, being arrogant with the Street, etc... and despite a promising beginning I don't think current Mgt. is doing that much better... Still no rapport with the Street... No News..., etc... I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on their push to focus ZIP on OEM inclusion and wait to see if they're successful but what in the world is happening with CLIK!, new CEO, Cost reductions, More competitive product pricing, They announce the aquisition of the dreaded Naomi and then a black hole of silence. How are they playing that move, where's the benefit? etc... My understanding is that the DD sector's problems are totally different, i.e. they over produced just when Asia went South and demand dropped... I'm rambling but it's late and the Corealus (sp) Effect down here in the Southern Hemisphere is doing strange things to my Cabeza... So I'll wrap this up by saying I think it is wrong to attribute IOMEGA's current situation to the over all DD sector being down... that may be partly to blame but not the real problem... The real problem lies in Roy, Utah... IMHO...
Buenas Noches...
