Mark,

It'll be a real shame if you decide not to share your picks with the thread. I think you and Rashid are brilliant stock pickers (ta gurus) and I greatly appreciate the sharing of knowledge. Without sharing how do we "beat" the pros?

Re: stoploss orders...As long as you place stop-loss orders, you have a chance of getting outed and reasons such as low vol, not alot of MM, MM are crooks, are just a few. MM see them and go for them even as a way to create panic. With just a few MM they can take a stk down 1/4 pt with trading as little as a 100 shares just to get the shares.

Just today I placed a stop-loss on ICOS at 20 7/8. Stock went as low as 21 and they didn't take my shares. What does that prove?

I will tell you that I had a devestating experience and expensive lesson some yrs back when I placed a stoploss on SmithKlein options. The SOBs MM dropped the price at the open stole my options then the stk took off and later that day SK was bought out. What a effin lesson on stop-losses. That's why I hesitate using them.

I really think you never mentioned this before because you always used mental stops. If you stick with them maybe you could continuing posting your picks. I hope you reconsider your decision and keep this thread alive.

Regards,
bazan
