A couple of questions regarding Datek. When will the long-promised level II quotes be available and what is the expected cost ? Shorts....How can datek determine share availability instantly while other firms take several minutes ? What happens in a buy-in. Do they call you or just buy to cover without telling you or what ? What about IPO shorts ? COOL is a new IPO and supposedly isnt allowed to be shorted yet Datek allowed me to place a short sale order. (It was a limit order above market so it didnt fill.) Thanks very much.
