My biggest problem is intellectual pride. My stock portfolio is one-third the size of my CEF portfolio, which is about half of my MF portfolio. What burns me is how bad the stocks are doing (as I've already whined to you in email). I'm not patting myself on the back for selling a bunch of my winning stocks, or selling some of the CEFs at their high. But it's "losing" to Michael Price or Robert Sanborn that burns me. It's sick. I "hire" these managers because they have time to do the research I can't, and then I'm upset when they outperform me.

Sick stuff.
