Anyone out there? Its been about 9 months since there was a post on this board. Today MDCC hit a 12-month low of $13 (down $2 for the day) before closing at $14.25. Of course the markets overall have been sick. MDCC is making much of its money off of high-throughput screening for drug discovery, which is a booming area. The company has some good equipment for this, including new equipment that will be out at the annual meeting for screening companies in Baltimore in September. It also still has most or all of the cash raised in its IPO. Like a lot of stocks these days, MDCC stock seems undervalued compared to its anticipated growth rate. Recent sales by insiders, which may have triggered today's drop, are routine and planned in this company and I suspect not tied to earnings expectations.
