>> In addition, AGPH is a biotech, and the sector is being hurt by institutions leaving (see
WSJ article on T Rowe Price Health Science fund) as well as shorts taking advantage of
the weakness. The weakness is also supported by many advanced product failures (at
the Phase III or FDA approval level). The product failures have also made pharma
partners a bit more jittery, especially as pressure grows for pipeline replacements. <<

This has largely been discussed in a high percentage of the SI biotech threads for the past month. Some consider the fallout reason to start picking stocks.

I am confident that AGPH will continue to increase PI market share, and I really like the pipeline and infrastructure. AGPH is a bargain. Those good old San Diego digs.

The patent issue..... I don't have time to dig up the claim language on Chiron patents. If someone loads them to the thread, I'm certain that there are several observers who would take an amateur shot at it. Maybe we have someone who will take a professional shot at it.

The analysts have their assistants working on it now, but it's probably not real high priority stuff.

Also...... I always got very clear descriptions of stuff from Donna. Margie has probably already got a handle on some of this stuff. It might involve stuff like crystal structures and the breadth of claims that can be associated with such, in which case we need a Dwyer/PB/Tommysdad/Dr. Voodoo/MZ/BJ/etc. conference.

The strength at SI in biophysics and organic chem is awesome.
