John,

I'm not a geologist so there is negligible benefit from visits to an exploration site. To me, it's just looking at a bunch of scenery. I learn much more talking to the geologist and having him explain to me what he expects deep below the surface as well as explaining the samples or assay results to me. Sometimes they are close to being correct.

Santa Isabel certainly hasn't been abandoned. The drilling is ongoing and we should expect a news release on Santa Isabel and/or the Walter Property before the end of the year - I won't be surprised if it is released next week.

I wonder if Jamie Punt of Samex can add his comments about the current drilling programs as well as plans for 1997 on these and other properties? I'll phone him today in case he doesn't visit SI daily.

Tom K.
