Steve: Right, I'd been catching bits 'n' pieces of the VFA controversy. Still, I wondered about the report I'd seen. The reason I thought it strange was that the airport and port expansion had already been completed. Then I came across some supposed work by Raytheon, et al. That was this past Winter. The way it was explained (and I wish I could recall by whom) I thought Palawan, but that made no sense. Oh, I almost forgot. You said it. That's the location -- General Santos City. And they both claim to be in-charge, huh? Boy, oh boy. That's all great information, Steve. About China: I too see no devaluation. But other problems are aplenty. "...off-duty sailors frolicking around southern Mindanao." <lol>
