I believe Pink's words were, "You can look at shorting HBOC". Have you done any DD? If you did, you'd know HBOC up there among the best in managing acquisitions. As Pink noted, HBOC has already been beaten up severely for the IMNT purchase (and the aborted MCK-merger).
Short if you feel you have to, but I for one was long before the plunge and am holding on tight.
