Biotechs tend to be very vulnerable during weak market times because they do not have clear and present earnings or dividend support, plus the perceived riskiness of their business makes these companies early jettison items when investors are deciding which stocks to sell.

This, of course, has been playing out in the form of stocks way off their highs. Whether we've bottomed or not, the long-term potentials are increasing.
