I appreciate your response. I feel confident that eventually it will go up in price, however, I was hoping for a quick rise. I probably invested too much - having sold all my other holdings before they went down week before last. I was feeling really good having done that and having discovered and fallen in love with SAP. Remember, I am the one whose former company, Hoechst, committed over $50 million to SAP a few years ago. I also know SAP consultants who are making a bundle -- and another friend who introduced SAP into her company is well sought after because of her knowledge and experience with SAP.
As a relatively new investor, I probably discarded the golden rule - diversity in equity holdings and don't put all your eggs in one basket. I therefore have a huge position and for an individual investor, that can be dangerous. On the other hand, it can put you on easy street for life. I just thought we had an almost sure thing and stretched. It was exciting up until Monday - expecially with the stock split.
Oh well, just think about how great it could have been-- AND for me, I am telling myself don't panic and wait it out. The company and the product are good - and you guys say the management is one of the best. I just wonder how long we will have to wait. Any thoughts on that?
Thanks for your posting. It's helping. |
