Being glossed over in the attacks on Tava is the distance Tava has come under Jenkins' leadership. He took over a company that had made a bad acquisition, and was committed to some poorly bid contracts. While extricating Tava from those, he also made the acquisitions that form modern Tava. Prior to the Y2K announcement last summer, he had Tava operating profitably - on a timetable he had previously announced. He then announced that Tava had an opportunity to use a unique Y2K tool to greatly advance Tava's growth, and that Tava would spend to seize the opportunity. This is leadership. It is also a growth company. To NOT have spent to ramp up Y2K would be the red flag. The many contracts signal that Tava will receive a large return on this investment.
