Icon CMT Now a Primary Provider of Network Services to CNET
WEEHAWKEN, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 6, 1998--Icon CMT Corp. (NASDAQ: ICMT - news), the tier-one Internet solutions provider offering value-added Internet, intranet and extranet solutions for businesses and corporations, today announced an expansion of its network connectivity agreement with CNET, Inc.

Under terms of the agreement, Icon CMT is now a primary network provider for CNET, offering DS3 Internet connections through the company's nationwide tier-one network and enabling people throughout the country to view CNET's award-winning Web site and features. The agreement represents an expansion of the company's relationship with CNET, which has been an Icon CMT customer for more than two years.

Icon CMT is providing Internet connectivity to CNET through the company's San Francisco POP site, which is part of Icon CMT's expanding presence on the West Coast. Recently, Icon announced the opening an Internet Data Center and sales office in San Francisco as part of its aggressive growth strategy. The company's Silicon Valley Internet Data Center gives Icon CMT a stronger presence in the growing West Coast market and balances its national 24x7 network operations capabilities.
