Many of the posters here seem to have mistakenly perceived this action by Antares as the "inability to react to criticism", or the stifling of "free speech" instead of concentrating on the issue at hand, which is rightfully defending themselves against the relentless and on-going libel taking place on this highly visible and popular forum.

Libel is..."A communication about a living person or an organization, made to at least one person other than its subject, that damages the subject's reputation. Technically, a written defamation is libel and a spoken one is slander. Only false statements can be termed libel."

For a quick glance at the types of statements we are talking about here which are clearly within the scope of this definition, re-read my previous posting listing a few of the offensive comments leading to this: Message 5421973

The company is NOT opposed to challenges from shareholders or criticism...and EVERYBODY is welcome to call 416-861-9940 to speak with Cynthia Dean or Peter Southward to discuss their concerns, but how can anyone expect someone like Dennis Gray who is leading Antares to put up with this kind of ridicule forever that tarnishes the reputations of him, his staff, his company, and harms the shareholders who believe in the future of this organization?

Interestingly, I just found out a few minutes ago that none of you who are protesting the recent actions here have actually called the company this morning!!!! Mind you...this is typical because the objective on this thread for many has long been to create doubt and fear amongst shareholders instead of posting factual information obtained from reliable sources.
