I am one of those fools (according to J Rogers) who
purchase intc last January at 50. As such, I now have
a huge amount of capital gains IF I were to sell.

Does anyone know if I could make a portion of my intc
investment be my (and my wife's) IRA contribution for
the year? I haven't made contributions for the current year, and
I was thinking that I could sock away a total of 8K in
the two IRAs so long as I could effect this transfer
without have to incur the capital gains. As I look around
at my IRA choices, intc looks AT LEAST equal to other
things I could invest in.

Just wondering,

J
