Super: It's both, sort of. On the BB, none of us actually trade between ourselves. All trades go through the MM. In this instance, somebody sold shares at .16 to the MM, who paid .16 for them. He will then, of course, sell them to someone else at .185, which just happenned. Not a bad way to make some money, huh? That's why they'll pay your broker to send the order their way. Nice to know there's no conflict of interest on the ol' BB. Of course, occasionally you'll manage to get an execution in between the bid/ask, in which case it's hard to tell whether it was a buy or a sell. Geoff
