Thanks for the explanation. But why couldn't a larger company with a preexisting business base and corporate list enter this business. In a sense, the MS Business products are generally internally compatible and it would seem that shell programs could be written fairly quickly and inexpensively to tie all this information together. I don't dispute that HYSW has grown quickly, but with the rapid changes in computing power, platforms, emergence of compatible languages (Java) and the internet in general, software niches appear somewhat vulnerable to me. Of course I've said that about Microsoft for several years, and was quite wrong about its prospects. But things move faster now. Many of these sorts of companies seem to fly high on hopes and then crash into reality as more competitors enter the chase. Do appreciate your ideas on this and will continue to follow HYSW/HYSL. I suspect that we will hear about a few digestive issues of consolidation for a few quarters before the real synergistic effects become apparent. Thus I don't mind holding a little cash now. I will be very surprised if after the August Meeting we see a marked spurt. Of course there was my Microsoft idea. It would be very interesting, but of course verrry unlikely, in view of the fall of both companies, if the shareholders refused to approve the merger in an effort to get their companies share prices back to where they were. It would not be the first time that a companies value rose when a merger was called off.
