Yes on both counts. I stand by that opinion. These two are not necessarly mutually exclusive.

Re:what growth are you talking about?

Using FY99 eps of .75 and a peak of $7.00 approximately 5 years out to the peak, we come to an annualized eps increase of 56.3125% annually! The $7.00 is from a recent Lehman report, although I question whether AMAT will actually earn that much at the peak. However, even if they fall short by 2 dollars the % increase from the bottom is enormous and this type of growth is not priced into the stock at these levels.
