I hope you aren't saying that a UCC is a bad thing.I honestly have a problem seeing the reasoning in this. Just how could it be bad that everyone is treated equally? Maybe you don't like the BJP implementing it because you obviously have a problem with them, but how about if another party was in the process of making it law ? Frankly, I think India is better off with the BJP than the Congress but that's another discussion...

As for "achieve all-round progress before you move forward in the realm of civil laws", I think it would be a useful to have a framework in place i.e the UCC and then build around it. Would you agree?
