Trey,
your comment,
much as i hate to say it, you can make a lot of money following kurlak. dan niles is such an also ran it isnt even funny. so, until kurlak says buy and puts merrills brokers to work,i am staying bearish.
I guess I am still a bit stung by his last comment that lead me to sell my calls and buy puts, but his comment was bearish on MU,.This was my first loss on MU this year and had been lucky until that point.
I am not going to do anything based on his input again.
You can stay bearish, but the tide is against you at least for now, with the DRAM spot so strong, and the Koreans planning on shutting down again in August, with such strong demand right now in the PC market, I would say that even if the Japanese ramped with Micron, it would take 45-90 days to catch up with the demand, but with the Koreans holding back production and controlling such a large percentage of worldwide supply, they are finally making an impact on the market after shutting down now for the third month. Thats why I say being bearish on MU, might be a bit strong, since MU will trend with DRAM at least it seems to, so go with the trend we may see a couple of more points here before MU takes a rest and maybe time to take some profits.
Good trading.
