I don't think that bankruptcy is looming. But I am concerned about their stock price sitting down here in the $7 - $9 range for a while. They just posted earnings last month and they missed. Some "spinning" was done (ie backlog of orders, etc.), but they still missed. Wall Street wants increased revenues and decent margins. Gems hasn't delivered lately. Will China pull them back up - I think so (but when). Another question(s) that I have is - does GEMS make the best stuff for their market? Are they falling behind in technology?
