Thean, et. al.,

Just a comment from a lurker--

First off, what the hell does Invest/LTD mean?

Second, my take from reading the various posts on this thread that the idea here is to make money---either mo-mo or slo-mo. I'm ok with either one. I know many of you feel that the "market" should be shorted and that there may be blips along the way down. Well, the last couple of days look like decent blips-so it may be reasonable to play the blip up for a bit.

With that in mind, what's everyone take on potential plays for tomorrow? It's getting harder to predict the morning action and the subsequent follow-through for the day. Hell, I thought the market was going to tank after seeing the futures prior to the open, but obviously, it was MM's manipulating the numbers.

Some of my favored plays are as follows--they may not mean squat to any of you, but what the heck--I didn't feel right just taking your thoughts without sharing mind.

1. FGII--buy after the initial gap up and sell-off--just what Thean said. I like it's movements because it's not as nutty as the nets where if you blink, you're either up or down 2 points (see CMGI's movements today for an example).

2. SEEK--same as above (except it is an internut play). Has same pattern. Also moves with the tick and the Nasdaq. Seems to lag a bit behind LCOS, YHOO, and XCIT so that if these others are moving up, you can catch SEEK before it catches up. LCOS and XCIT are more volatile but also more rewarding if you can play it right.

3. Seems like SEG, WDC, QNTM may be worth a ride on the upside for a trade or for a couple of days. They've been beaten to shits just like the drillers/oil service sectors. The no. of shorts on these must be outrageous.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
