Judy, I think it is a pretty good idea taking profits in AMAT (I took my stuff off the table at $34 before the down swing late July and never got back in). I also agree with your target of $38/$39.

There is an outside possibility that the 8400 area on the Dow was the low around here and that my fears for October will not come through, but right now, I still have a relatively defensive position, I may get out of VECO tomorrow or earl;y next week (my target was 32 and it reached 31-5/8 today, it could easily go to 34 tomorrow).

PS, I still think that UTEK might have a 24-26 in it, but do not overstay your welcome (G).
