Some of those huge trades on SCHI may be explained by what I just heard on AOL from an employee of Eclypsus!
Want a RUMOR? I have one for you that may cause a frenzy. Recently battered Simione Central Holdings Corp (SCHI), has been in talks with Eclipsys Corp about a possible buyout of Simione. Eclipsys Corp awaiting their IPO deput(postponed amid market conditions) will purchase SCHI with stock(remember SCHI was around $7 just last week). I have no idea how much, but was told by an employee of Eclipsys that the acquistion of SCHI by Eclipsys isn't necessarily dependant on Eclipsys's market debut and could happen any time.
With the stock battered like it was today, there was no indication that this rumor was true. However, the CEO of SCHI didn't give a great outlook on SCHI because they may have already agreed on a buyout price. Who knows? I suggest you call both companies!

MAtt
