I don't really know. My "best" sources couldn't give me specifics other than "lots." This is typical of my "sources." Often useless, except for big picture info. Though I don't know who was at "fault" for the lack of Riva compatibility, many put the blame on EIDSY. So I think it is good that a patch is out there as it makes it look like EIDSY will work to keep people happy. (my guess, however, is that nVidia did the work to get the patch done; their hardware doesn't natively support 8 bit paletized images) For the record I made phenomenal gains today on RDRT, PMTC and TDFX. A dozen more days like today and I will be back even :) Another dozen, and I can make up for CD and CREAF, both of which managed to close the day down...
