Barb, nothing new, really. I have a brochure from Lehman Bros. from two years ago about similar programs. I am curious, though, how the 90% loan with downside protection, but "without any limit to your upside potential" is structured. Perhaps some variation of an equity swap, but retaining some of the upside somehow.

Isn't it wonderful what the Street can come up with to let insiders cash out without the public having a clue? I'd bet Jeff Bezos and most of the other internut billionaires and near billionaires are taking full advantage of these programs. But, then, we'll probably never know.
