Raymond,
How many exploration companies that are involved in joint ventures with larger mining companies have you been involved with before? I have had experience holding shares in several companies this type of situation (most noteably KRT). There IS consistantly a delay in getting results out because of the hassles of having each party agree on the wording of news releases, etc. Often one party will ask for a small change which then causes the process to have to start all over again, and at other times I'm sure the news release will just remain sitting on someones desk while they are out of the office on some business trip, etc.
The reasoning for the slight delay is acceptable in my opinion.... and it only was 1 week.
Also, I don't believe that James Speros is jumping ship from MIQ (although it is possible... I just don't think that's the case)...
The truth of the matter is, MIQ doesn't need much time spent on it right now.... the hard work is done (finding a property, raising funds to initially explore it, and then finding a big JV partner to fund the rest of the exploration).... now we just get to sit back and wait for the results.. and if they are good, we will all be rewarded eventually. If this was all James Speros had on his plate, he would become one very bored man! Sure he can be looking for new properties for MIQ, doing some promotion for the company, etc... but that once again is not a 7 day a week job...
MIQ will live and die by Kinross drilling the property and the results that are returned from that drilling....
