Extremely flat with 2-3x normal volume, then an big spike... WOW! Today's volume behavior was strange from almost the beginning of the day. I noticed fairly heavy volume but yet the price remained VERY flat. The volume around 12pm was almost 500k - this has well over 2x than before. We all know what before was like! Low volume, and depressing down trend. But, the price was so flat for such heavy trading it was kind of bizarre!!! I left the building and came back later to see the geyser near the closing bell - strange thing #2. Hopefully this will be a good omen. Like I said some time back - this should be an interesting month! Look at this page: tscn.com Note, the above is a five day page. The 10 day looks interesting too - tscn.com Flat, then spike. Look at how flat that price is!! But is was with heavy volume!!! Then, to cap it off, a 1.5 point spike just before the bell. Prior to this EXTREMELY abrupt spike was trading so flat that it was about 1/8 point difference MOST of the day with heavy trades. Then the 1/8-1/4 trading zone was blasted away with that big spike - WOW. Looking forward to see what the open will be!! I doubt very much if it will be flat like it was today. Correct me if I am wrong, but this behavior from a technical chartist standpoint doesn't usually indicate a downturn. PS In reference to an earlier post or two - some one mentioned that they couldn't believe if the big blocks were sells. Most of the time when someone sells, SOMEONE else BUYS!!!!! and visa-versa! What's important is to identify interest - and it was revealed today after a long wait!!!
