My Compaq Presario PII 300MHX machine - 64 Megs of RAM - 8.0 GB UltraDMA Hard Drive - 32x Max CD-ROM - 56K V.90 modem - Iomega Zip Drive - 2x AGP Graphics - ATI 3D Rage LT Pro - 17" monitor with JBL Pro Speaker and Telex Microphone - Aureal A3D Interactive 360 Sound - 2 USB ports and a MIDI/game port in the front - DFP Port - tons of software Cost me $1,650 before tax. Find me a Dell machine that is noticably cheaper, and like the average consumer I couldn't give a rat's ass if a Dell machine has a 8.4 GB hard drive (compared to the 8.0 that I got that I'll never fill) or the like.
