what the tradeable float of gcty will be on Tuesday since most of the ipo is going to be in institutional or please don't flip hands. If nobody is selling on Tuesday....Well....Wooooooow.

Weby hoping e-trade pays off on that extra couple of bucks for each trade.

There will be an additional 15% of shares available from the "Green Shoe" or underwriter's overallotment option. Assuming the size of the offering is not increased from the proposed 4.75MM (IMO, highly unlikely), the "Green Shoe" will be 712,500 shares. Assuming nobody sells any IPO shares, that will be the available float. All of the overallotment will show up in the first day's volume since the underwriters wil short stock against the "Green Shoe". This is essentially riskless to the underwriters because GCTY is contractually obligated to deliver the extra shares to cover their short. In case you're confused, only underwriters can short IPO's before a stock becomes marginable.

Remember, the most volatile stocks have the best returns! (Expect GCTY to be VERY volatile...hint...hint.)

Strap on your seatbelts, put on your helmets and hold onto your dear CMGI !
