Mr. Investor: With due respect, in my humble opinion VIAS went up because of Kevin Schick, not short coverings. Before you jump in and short this overpriced turkey, it might be prudent for you to ponder the dissimilaritis between IOMG and VIAS. Is there a drop-dead date for IOMG? Are politicians getting involved in IOMG? Does IOMG have anything to do with corporate survivorships? And turkey can fly. Don't put too much weight on IBM's expertise in software. It is well known in the corporate world that IBM software sucks big time. The entry of IBM in Y2K will only drive more customers to VIAS and others. Did IBM spend millions of dollars on OS/2? The end results are predictable: Window 95 and NT thrive. Within 1 year, OS/2 will disappear completely from corporate desktops. Read the Gartner papers and you'll find more juicy stuff about IBM's software shortcomings. Smart, what you are seeing is the early stage of a mania. A monstrous mania that ends all previously known manias. Handle it with care. Respectfully, Q3
