Thanks Christian, I understood as much from the original article. I am having a difficult time finding any data on this Russian Transit company. None of my contacts know anything about them. Doing business in Russia for most companies is still a crap shoot. A good friend of mine has a father who has been exporting to Russia even before Glasnost, and he has lost a lot of money. Just mundane things like shipping can be a nightmare. Goods get stuck in customs, and receiving company never pays because they don't have the goods. A few connected customs officials look the other way as mafia types take off with shipments. These shipments end up being sold to the company who originally ordered the products. Of course the price is extremely reduced and no taxes are levied. The situation has improved a great deal, but these problems are wont to go away. Dug
