Bradpalm,

I must confess that tonight you produced the most meaningful post regarding Vivus and it's shareprice. IMO this "lack of forgiveness"
has been repeatedly demonstrated via the continued high short interest AND the fact that whenever Vivus shows a nice move to the upside it is short lived since a lot of money is thrown at it to pound it back down.

Had Wilson called for an analyst meeting back in early November and discussed how moving equipment to the new plant would create a production shortfall and thus lower earnings, then I think the analysts could have adjusted their estimates and Vivus' stock price would have traded lower but not crashed and nobody would have been caught with their pants to their ankles.

Vivus can now only recover via a buyout or a few quarters of productive earnings otherwise I am not holding my breath for the forgiveness.
