R.Bond: I always found R. Ney's timing often to be early. However, his methods did help to uncover the underlying intent!

He was developing a new charting strategy (at the time) when I moved from the LA area. It involved trend lines at certain angles. I believe it was 45 degrees. After moving, I no longer could get the local LA business channel.

To answer you questions, no I do not use his charting methods. I have not subscribed to his Newsletter in many years. The Ney theory of manipulation, (big block techniques) is only part of what I do. But the acceptance that manipulation occurs on an on going basis will give you a hedge on the market and a completely different perspective, to all traditional TA.

NoName: Sorry, I do not share my NeyOsc Formula!

PS: I believe that manipulation has gotten worse in this new era of individual traders, trading via computers. More in you face stuff, without the old setup. It is easier to see after, but in some cases, harder to detect intent in advance.
