TORONTO, ONTARIO-- Mond Industries Inc. announced today the receipt of purchase orders totaling more than $10 million for dry freight vans, refrigerated units and container chassis.
Pat DiLillo, President and CEO, said the orders demonstrate the continuing strength in the trailer market. The orders were placed by a new customer, Penske Truck Leasing, and existing customers such as Xtra Lease, Transport International Pool (TIP), Thomson Terminals Group, Day & Ross Inc., Manitoulin Transport, Trac Lease, Armour Transportation System, Kruger Inc. and SLH Transport Inc.
Mond's current order book stands at more than $30 million.
Mond is Canada?s largest manufacturer of domestic intermodal containers for the truck/rail transportation sector and designs, manufactures, services and repairs an extensive line of standard and customized trailers, trailer chassis, dry freight vans, refrigerated and heated vans, and truck bodies. Mond sells its products in Canada using its own sales force and through a nationwide dealer network.
