Art,
Please don't take this as a negative post it is just my thoughts on your posting. You said, "nobody knows how to run the business to increase shareholder value". In the last 10K they pared their losses by almost half from the previous year. They have instituted a inventory system that has proven to lower costs and losses. They have instituted a banner add with the more than 12 million members of Hotmail.com. Since May the price of shares have increased from $.18 to present levels an increase of more than 100%.
I don't know what mistakes your talking about in the news releases? If your talking about the symbol (AMGV.O)? That was explained to you in a previous post as not being a mistake.
American General Ventures, Inc. is the parent company of several wholly owned subsidiaries one of them is ACI Micro Systems. Quite a few companies have parent companies with wholly owned subsidiaries? This isn't uncommon at all. Would it be simplier to have only one name associated with a product? Yes it would indeed. AMGV has plans to expand into several additional areas hence they have chosen to keep the name the way it is.
If you believe that AMGV is a scam than I wouldn't buy or associate with such a company. Scam is a strong word and I disagree completly with using it even lightly.
Go to Wal-Mart web site and configure your own computer and compare the price and product included. You'll find they offer the same products with a comparable price to the products they offer on their own web site. The AMGV web site displayed products are available for the Hotmail.com banner add. Also for consumers who venture onto the web site. They have spread their eggs from one basket to several baskets. This is sound business practice in my opinion.
I have been in phone contact with Chris and Steve on a regular basis and I've found them to be very knowledgeable and professtional. Have they made mistakes? Yes they have indeed. Are they correcting previous difficulties? They certainly have and will in my opinion.
My suggestion would be to call AMGV at 1-719-548-1616 ext 16 and talk with Chris Walker COO and express your views and get answers to your questions.
John
