I purchased intc in Jan. at 51, then at different times throughout the year: at 69, 84, 103, and recently at 120. I'm not a big investor, but I've done okay! Was watching CNBC at lunch and George Gilder was carrying on about the demise of Wintel and the future dominance of java and nc computers. A friend of mine is telling me to sell my intel, get out now while I'll have a profit because he's a believer in the nc scenario. Help!! Anyone have any advice on what to say about this? I'm not technical or well-versed enough to come up with a retort on my own. Just know I get very hot under the collar when someone suggests I sell my intel.
