I'll have to think about that. The size of the loan
is the same, only the payments are lower. Plus many
loans now are high LTV, possibly offsetting any refinancing
impact.

Not sure, JW. My premise is that loan demand is slowing
overall because underlying economic activity has slowed
and many underlying assets, such as most commodities, are
declining in value, reducing the size of those supporting
debts. If housing values in general are going down I could
agree with your post.
