The UCC is not the panacea for all our ills nor is it going to unite the country. The UCC has nothing to do with uniting a country. It has everything to do with offering a legal recourse .... a weapon to fight oudated actually, atavistic rules of social order. BTW if the UCC is perceieved as anti-muslim many should realize that Hindus are governed by what is called the Hindu Marriage Act. That too goes out the window.

As far as the really pressing problems are concerned you can run but can never hide. Where ever you go you will always see it.

Does anyone have a link to the texts of the UCC. I remember seeing it somewhere.
